We Keep It Simple
Puzzle-It ("the App", available at https://puzzleit.space) is a mobile puzzle game created by Suraj Sahani (Kinetic Labs). We built this app to be fun, fair, and private. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.
By using Puzzle-It, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.
What We Collect
Puzzle-It stores user preferences and gameplay progress locally on your device:
- Username (chosen by you)
- Selected avatar emoji
- Game stats: total score, levels completed, best time, streak, coins
No account required Optional Online Leaderboards No Invasive Trackers No annoying popups
We do not collect your personal contact information, address book, location, or private device files.
Leaderboards & Diagnostics
To enable competitive features and ensure app stability:
- Firebase Leaderboards: When submitting your high score, your chosen public alias and level scores are securely synchronized with Google Firebase Firestore.
- Google Play Games Services: Used optionally to verify your player ID and achievements.
- Crash Diagnostics: Anonymous crash reports are processed via Firebase Crashlytics to help us quickly patch bugs.
Permissions We Request
Puzzle-It requests minimal permissions:
- Internet Permission: Used solely for loading sponsors, leaderboard synchronization, AI hint assistance, and crash diagnostics.
- No camera, microphone, contacts, location, or external storage access is ever requested.
Children Under 13
Puzzle-It is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal contact information from children under 13.
Deleting Your Data
You can delete all locally stored data at any time by tapping "RESET PROGRESS" on the Profile screen, or by clearing app storage / uninstalling the App.
